For something special, take a scenic cruise of the
beautiful waterways, beaches and bays of the Abel Tasman National Park...in
comfort and on your own timetable.
After leaving beautiful Kaiteriteri Beach we visit Split
Apple Rock, then take a look at all the bays, inlets and features of interest
of this magnificent National Park area, including; Torrent Bay, Frenchman
Bay, Falls River, Bark Bay, Tonga Island seal colony in the marine reserve,
Awaroa Inlet, Adele and Fisherman Islands.
We look out for the little blue penguins and stop to view
the animal life, such as New Zealand fur seals, oyster catchers, stilts,
terns and shags, amongst others. And if we're lucky a whale or dolphin may
leap into view.
Bird watchers and nature photographers heaven, Abel
Tasman’s coast line is truly remarkable, and it’s all yours to experience how
you wish.
If you wish we can put you ashore on one of the beautiful
beaches for a stroll or a walk through part of the magical Abel Tasman
Coastal Track. We can pick you up at the next breathtaking bay.
At lunch time
you can relax on board the Northwestern with a spectacular buffet lunch made
from local produce and beverages, alternatively you can arrange a picnic to
take ashore and enjoy in the National Park or soak in the warmth of the pure
sands of the beautiful beaches. (Bar B Qs on request) |
