“Natures
Playground”... The Abel Tasman is New Zealand’s smallest National Park
covering 22,530 hectares of pristine bays and inlets surrounded by
magnificent scenic bush and mountain ranges. It is the home of many native
species of birds and mammals along with stunningly beautiful, unspoilt bush.
Abel Tasman
boasts some of New Zealand’s finest beaches, accessible only by trampers or
by boat. The golden sands run into crystal clear water that abounds with
marine life.
The Abel
Tasman Coastal Track is one of New Zealand's great walks. Well maintained
tracks follow a spectacular coastline, and travel down onto secluded beaches.
The regions
mild climate makes for a pleasant visit all year round.
